Summer 2026
What to Expect
NCF Summer Day Camps combine structured fencing instruction with athletic conditioning in a focused, supportive environment. Each week is designed to be both an introduction for new fencers and intensive training for experienced ones.
Campers learn from coaching staff led by Gary Copeland, the 1999 USOC Fencing Coach of the Year with 47 years of coaching experience. The same developmental approach that has produced 46 national champions and a 2025 Pan American medalist is adapted for the camp format.
Morning: Instruction & Drills
Footwork, bladework, and tactical concepts. Skill-appropriate groups.
Afternoon: Bouting & Games
Competitive bouts, conditioning, and fencing-related games. Apply what you learned.
